With God's help we survived a viscious attack to our rabbi, his family and our synagogue. To all our concerned friends, thank you for your love and support. We have received hundreds of letters of encouragement and solidarity. You touch our souls and warm our hearts. With your strength, we will overcome this hatred and create unity in our community and country.

Please view our presentation of many of the beautiful letters and works of art we received: http://prezi.com/lj58lgvlsrap/love-from-all-over/

We thank those of you who joined us in solidarity Saturday night, January 14 at Felician College and Wednesday, February 15th at the William's Center. Bother were great gatherings of people from all religions and cultures; proof that we can all unite in love and peace. Much thanks to the Williams Center and Felician college for donating their venues and the Rutherford Interfaith Council and the Rutherford Civil Rights Commission for organizing the events. We thank all the clergy and representatives of government who joined us these nights. We are truly indebted to the Rutherford Police Force for their endless efforts on our behalf.

Thanks to your donations, an advanced video surveillance system has been installed.

If you'd like to help finish our lighting renovations, please send a check to Cong. Beth El, 185 Montross Ave., Rutherford, NJ 07070.

All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated.

Rutherford, NJ is less than 5 minutes from the heart and amenities of Jewish Passaic. It offers picturesque blocks with homes for sale, direct access to the Secaucus train interchange and an easy bus ride to New York City. Rutherford is widely considered to be one of the nicest and most family friendly communities in South Bergen county. [Visit the borough website]

At the center of Rutherford's Jewish community is Congregation Beth El, a unique synagogue located in a vast Queen Anne mansion on one of the town's most prestigious blocks. The small synagogue is now experiencing renewed growth fueled by young families moving to the area and a unique blend of traditional Jewish programming set in a warm and inviting atmosphere that is open to Jews of all levels and backgrounds.
